  This is your grandmother's chardonnay. The wine smells of popcorn, butter and rubber along with yellow apple and pear. The palate it is much the same as well, but with medium-low acidity. This is the typical buttery chardonnay character that people either love or hate. I typically like it when it is done well, but I think in this case there is a little too much manipulation going on for me to score it any higher.

  I found this to be very very good. very lively. great oak flavor. rich on the tongue. will definitely get again.

Very cool climate region shows through, deep citrus layers, riper tones are more muted and gives balance. Really nice style and value.
