  Oh so very fizzy on PnP, fortunately the delivery guy allowed enough time for decanting. After an hour still super primary with a slight fizz remaining, but already enjoyable for my tastes (less so for the missus’).
  
  On the nose ripeish cherry fruit, iron and rosepetals. Smells quite reductive, too. On the palate has pretty good weight and some tannin but comes off relatively easy-going still. Excellent fruit here, ripe yet bright. Quite savory as is to be expected. Fills the palate nicely, then the tannins kick in and grip appropriately. Very youthful at this moment, the 2020 iteration seemed to come around sooner. Good quality still without a doubt.

  On nose bright red fruit and oxygen, the palate displays dried red cherries, roses, forest strawberries, hints tar and licorice. Oxidized, chalky and savory style the way Cascina Fontana's LNs but this is a bit more precise. Clear presence of tannin but good fruit and acidity make this pleasant. Youthful and fresh, approachable and very enjoyable now. Good time to taste these while waiting for the Barolos of this producer to reach maturity.

  Elio Sandri Tasting (Freiheit Vinothek, Ulm, Germany): Glass: Riedel Vinum Pinot
  Clear, medium ruby color. Beautiful fine, deep and floral-spicy nose.
  On the palate very salty, almost creamy, very deep, forest berries, floral notes, complex, beautiful grip and texture. Long. Very good PQR. 92-93
