deep ruby and medium-plus body. floral notes enrich a lovely nose of red berry, tarragon, and subtle soil aromas. fresh feeling in mouth, the fruit grows gradually with precise outlines that accentuate the floral and herbal accents against the very polished tannins. lovely pepper spice vein emerges in the back end and melds with the fruit in long persistence.
focused, elegant, and with already apparent complexity, a little bit of time should do wonders for this CdP. upside potential here.
well-integrated stated 15% AbV; 61% Grenache/ 18% Mourvèdre/ 13% Syrah/ 5% Cinsault/ 1% Vaccarese/ 2% other permitted varietals; more than half the Grenache vines are century-old; fermented in "tulip-shaped" concrete tanks; aged for eighteen months in a combination of concrete tanks, foudre, and large (600L) barrels.

Garrigue, underbrush, flowers, and kirsch aromas open the wine. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, fresh, elegant, forward, and refined, with soft, silky tannins, and a finish loaded with sweet, black raspberries, and a peppery kirsch. Drink from 2024-2032.
