  Beautiful wine drunk after tough love handling : first half via Coravin with the remainder left under argon in our beach house pantry for 3 months ( at least it was winter ) !
  Dark colour. Terrific nose of black fruits, plum and cherry, allspice and earth. Palate quite dense, intense with long follow through. Unchanged after 3 months with argon ! A delicious surprise given the year.

  Really good burgundy. Worried when there was mold on the cork and the cork was soaked through, but it was great. I've only had maybe 1 or two better. Nose: slight funk, light alcohol, mineral, little red fruit. Taste was light black and red fruits, earth, white truffle, undergrowth, slight tartness, great acidity, slightly sweet tannins with a light light dryness. Nice long finish. Quite spectacular. Drank with french chicken stew with red wine/stock, with cranberry beans, carrots, potatoes, porcini mushrooms, and kale.
