Pale ruby color — medium intensity aromas and medium(+) intensity flavors of sour cherries, raspberries, and strawberries, with subtle hints of violets and earth that later evolve to add a black pepper character. Medium alcohol, body, and medium(+) tannin, with high acidity and a medium(+) finish. Fun, versatile, cool climate Pinot Noir.

Australia vs New Zealand Pinot Noir (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): A little nail varnish remover, red hued fruits, baking and savoury spice, meaty; not a very nice nose. And it is quite hard and bitter on the palate with drying tannins that are coarse and far too much for the fruit, Nah.
