  Impossible to hide the heat on this one, so serve this chilled (15° Celsius advised on the bottle). Nevertheless this is a nice bottle of shouthern style syrah. Reasonably complex, but very rich and creamy with good white pepper. The sugar sensation remains. 89 pts

  Very similar in style to the 2004 Le Plan Vermeersch GT-S. Unblended Syrah wine that was matured in American oak barriques for 12 months. Decanted for one hour. Deeply concentrated black-red colored wine with an enchanting bouquet of cherry, cedar, dark chocolate and some tones of roasted coffee. Full-bodied, well-balanced palate with loads of sweet red fruit, a round-velvety texture and firm but very ripe tannins. An elegant, well drinkable wine with a quite complex finish. Drink it now and over the next two, three years.
  
  Quasi identiek in stijl als de Le Plan Vermeersch GT-S 2004. Zuivere Syrah-wijn met een rijping van 12 maanden op Amerikaanse eik. Gedecanteerd, één uur voor consumptie. Diepe, geconcentreerde zwartrode kleur en een betoverend bouquet van kers, cederhout, donkere chocolade en een toets van gebrande koffie. Smaak: een volmondige wijn met pakken zacht rood fruit, met een prima balans, een ronde, zijdeachtige textuur en kloeke maar zeer rijpe tannines. Een elegante wijn, goed op dronk met een vrij complexe afdronk. Te drinken: nu en in de volgende twee-drie jaren.
