  • Deep, inky purple-red hue, with ultra-ripe black fruit aromatic to match.

    Yes, there is wood here, but creamy wood influence - that is well-absorbed into this massive wine, that is fattened & sweetened appropriately.

    It comes across as very Mendoza malbec-like, with high pH (fleshy, billowing texture) but with hard acids & intriguing floral-violet perfume - obvious contribution from Syrah.

    It's a take-no-prisoners style of red: big & bold …certain to accompany a cowboy or tomahawk steak....or in my case, a French Pissaladiere.
