Popped, poured, consumed over next two hours. Didn't really enjoy this for the first hour, but then it began to slowly transform, finally rounding into shape. Did not taste New World to me, but based on this experience, I don't think I would mistake this for a French wine, either. Belongs in its own category. Needs lots of air or time in the cellar.

Very impressive. Dead ringer for Meursaulet. Ripe Meyer lemon, white flower, vanilla and chalky minerals. Oak is here but well balanced and integrated. More depth, texture and intrigue than most Willamette Chardonnay. Really young so took 2-3 hours open to start showing. Great wine for the price.

Good wine. Smells beautifully, slight petrol nose, fresh, light minerality, lemon curd.
Tastes reasonably well balanced, thought slightly rich, round and oaky for my preferences. Good acidity to balance richness. Enjoyable.
