Very subtle and elegant but this does not undermine the pronounced palate. All the flavors I need but nothing over the top. Honey, grapefruit, creamy lemon, a kiss of oak and minerality. Burgundian. Palate med+, med alc, perfectly balanced. Only med finish is a little lacking. Linear and not yet evolved. Drink now or cellar for a few years for added complexity.

Popped, poured, consumed over next two hours. Didn't really enjoy this for the first hour, but then it began to slowly transform, finally rounding into shape. Did not taste New World to me, but based on this experience, I don't think I would mistake this for a French wine, either. Belongs in its own category. Needs lots of air or time in the cellar.

Good wine. Smells beautifully, slight petrol nose, fresh, light minerality, lemon curd.
Tastes reasonably well balanced, thought slightly rich, round and oaky for my preferences. Good acidity to balance richness. Enjoyable.
