Taken to a restaurant. This wasn’t helped by the tiny wine glasses and spiced food but held its own. Bright berry and dark cherry. Oak and cedar nose. Punchy finish of tannic fruit and wood. Some green pepper. Like a good young Bordeaux. Very good 91-92

The glass releases an intense red color surrounded by brilliant ruby reflections. On the nose, the aromas of red berries and cherries explode together with peppery hints mixed with myrtle from the Mediterranean maquis, and then merge with toasted notes given by the wood. In the mouth, the attack spreads a vibrant and persistent acidity, which brings freshness. All this is enhanced by soft tannins on the palate that give silkiness in an enchanting drink.

Opened a half bottle at Casa Ferlin, Zurich. Great wine and great foods. One of the best Italian restaurant in Zurich.
