Had to try this wine even though I know it is way too early. What a beautiful and different wine from any other Montepulciano I have tried. Lots of black and purple fruit on the nose - Plum, unripe prunes, blackberry, mulberry and black currant. The wine is very dense but the alcohol is very controlled. The tannins however are very, very grippy. Wait 10 years with this wine. Bottle no: 89

Concentrated fruit but lacking depth on the palate, Emidio's 2021 is inline with the vintage. Mixed dark & red fruit. Okay acidity. (Number 08172, Italian market bottling)
