  Medium-dark purple. Smelled a bit red fruited with some woody character, but tasting it the sour black cherries (think marasca) take over, with some additional earthy and leathery notes. Nice food-friendly Barbera acidic bite that fans out into mouth-filling medium body, medium-minus tannin, and finishes medium back on the cherries.

  red berries, dark berries, dried red berries, hint of citrus peel, gentle oak, nice high acid. med bodied.

  Day 4: Still going strong with raspberries, earth, pepper, spices, bell peppers and rose petals. Solid wine. 90 points
  Recommendation: Solid wine overall and good price around $20.00.

  Feminine in body and spirit. Smooth and fruity, more clever than most of her red wine peers. Would love to show up to a dinner party with this. Paired well with Eggplant Parmesan.
