Big earthy black fruit on the nose. Palate is medium to full bodied with elegant black fruit, floral, anise and earth notes. Very dry with fine but prominent tannin. Long earth and black fruit finish. All is in balance in this bold but balanced mourvedre-driven blend. Really well done. No signs of fading and seems to have a long life ahead.

Major yum. Really refreshing, good complexity, and very enjoyable. All kinds of provencal herbs, well integrated tannins, food-friendly acidity and great balance. Drink up.

Simple Rhone blend...heavy on the Mouvedre and Syrah so missing the Grenache fruit but given my love for mouvedre I thought it was reasonsably enjoyable for the price point. On the opening angular and bit acidic but built in the glass to gain size and rounded in the mouth. Solid Rhone blend will be interesting to see future year blends given this was my first.

Muted nose with a touch of wood resin. Not a ton of fruit. Medium body, with Earth, sage, blood and steak juice, with a slightly bitter finish. Very quenching, as the bottle dissappeared rather quickly.

Fairly light, nice fruit, good balance. Plenty of tannins, but not overpowering. A real thirst quencher.
