Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Drank at room temperature.

    Disappointing, borderline faulty.

Asked my wife what it smells like, she said the farm animals at the Royal Adelaide Show she's just returned from.

Color is the best part, vibrant and clear red purple. As too is the label. Good art.

Nose smells of barnyard and leather.

On entry acid is sharp, brings orange juice and cherry sherbet. It tastes ok through the middle. You can feel the 11.9 percent, it enters light bodied.

Finish of leather and horse contrasting with tart cherry candy and OJ. Length improves as it gets air, but unfortunately so does the funk.

Balsamic notes through the finish suggest it's on its way to vinegar. Short length, low tannins.

Maybe it's just this bottle. Natural wine should be correct. This finds freshness in the middle, but it's far from clean.

Not for me. Tastes like some of the better homemade wines I've had.

No sulfur warning on label. Composite and branded cork. Looks to retail for 25-30 aud.

    Day two update

This is much better cold, it hides the funk.

    Drink cold, very cold

Sweet and sour, like a Toffee Apple lollie bar. Or a Redskin.
