  • Freesia, jasmine, ripe white peach, ripe melon, lemon juice lead the nose. Underneath that, there's enough brine/oyster shells to remind you that this is Chablis. Medium + intensity of aromas. The palate shows more lemon flavors, a hint of yeast and more than a hint of oak (cedar and buttered popcorn). Only a medium intensity of flavor, at this young age.

Medium body, medium + acid. Good mix of fruit and oak there, with the fruit having the edge. Developing. Hold for 3-5 more years at least before checking in again.

  • Waterford Wine burgundy tasting. Pale straw, brilliant explosive floral aroma (wow) (that was my initial impression). Just a hint of sweetness, mineral with some nutty, grainy notes, moderate - high acid. Fabulous.
