  At 'The Bunker', Leura. This opened well as a fine example of classic Margaret River Chardonnay showing well judged fruit and a nice gravelly mineral persistence. There's plenty of flavour and character for this level.

  Visit to Vasse Felix; Very impressive lineup, we only tasted through the Premium range, however everything from the Sauvignon Blanc to the Chardonnay to the Cabernet, even the sparkling wines were well made, true to their style and the region.
  
  Two clones are used in this Chardonnay instead of just the classic gingin to add a little more focus and precision, it works! Nectarine, peaches, almonds, nutmeg, spice and sea salt, the palate is round, lush yet with focus and lift, finishing focused.
