  Deep, dark garnet in color. Full, fragrant & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blueberries & cassis with overtones of floral notes of roses & earthy notes, mocha, spices, minerals, leather, herbs & a hint of oak in the background. Full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blueberries & pomegranate with spices, minerals, herbs, mocha & a touch of oak. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but needs additional time to develop further at which time it may merit a higher score (94+). An indicative blend of Mencia & Alicante Bouschet. A wonderful wine!
