  Some straw on the nose and strawberries (or is that just word association) Possibly just the hint of dried mushrooms. Palate was tight and wound upon opening with a flat/bitter spot but filled out during the evening. Still quite tight though with a dried strawberry note and a fine tannic backbone in tandem with a refreshing acidity. Not the greatest of finishes and starting to thin slightly 4 hours in. Would certainly seem to have the stuffing to be worth waiting another 5 years for.
