Bright red color with spicy nose to start. I've found many of the Brewer-Clifton pinots come across hot, but perhaps time helped the Clos Pepe as the wine was well balanced. Black cherry, with a touch of earth. Short finish, which surprised me. Enjoyable, but not remarkable.

Nose has a crispy floral tone with red cherries. The palate has some earthiness infused with berries, slightly tannic and tart, short finish. Not overly impressed.

Started out with promise, but fell flat over the night. Popped and poured, and the first taste sang with spice and vigor. But the wine seemed to fizzle out over the course of a meal and never seemed to recover into anything interesting. The high alcohol never really came through, which was appreciated. Forest floor on the nose. Sour cherry on the palate, though not very fruity. Mixed feelings overall.

Somewhat floral and rich nose that leads to rich flavors of red raspberry, holiday spice and pomegranate. Might be a bit over the hill for this one. Limited acidity and something a bit off in the finish. A bit abrupt and stilted at the end.

sour cherry/bramble/etoh nose, dark earth/cedar/cranberry on the mouth, good finish of the cranberry. could not discern the 15.2, very nice tonight, curious to see how this ages>>>
