  • At first, it mostly smells of farmyard even if not too repulsive. With time it steps back and lets other notes shine: liquorice, eucalyptus, blackberry, cedar, cigar smoke, but with a distinct dirt/manure smell. Still quite nice even though not as complex as it could’ve been.
On the palate it’s medium-bodied with medium+ acidity and medium tannin. Very interesting combination to form the mouthfeel. There is sandpaper or whetstone character, dry gritty oak guelder-rose berry, redcurrant and blackberry leaf.
Long finish, which is very enjoyable with evolving flavours.
    9-/18
