YESish. A bit pallid but definitely tasted like an Alsace Reisling. Bit petrolly around edges with good acidity and citrus taste. Had it with scallops done with lime zest and it went really well (Albi, Mercure, 2010).

'Tall bottles' (Austria, Germany, Alsace) with Thai food (Hartford, CT): A pleasant nose shows flowers, green apple, citrus and some smoky notes. More green apple and grapefruit flavours follow on the palate with moderate acidity and a clean medium length finish. Enjoyable to sip on, but not particularly complex.

This was better than the Ferngrove, but again, very dry. Food would have helped both of these. The petrol on this was more obvious and pleasan. The citrus was not as "slap you in the face" as the Ferngrove. Still not a buy.
