taste: full flavors on the palate with medium body giving off flavors of blackfruits, anise, and black pepper tones
overall: an excellent wine. Bold and full while not being overwhelming as the wine works well in balance. Nicely balanced blackfruited attack that gives way to a black pepper finish

Big, ripe, tannic, herbal. Gets much better with 6-7 hours of air. The wine goes from hugely ripe to balanced but too tannic. This makes me think this will improve with several more years in the cellar.

Still massively tannic. Fruit is huge. Try again in 5 years.
