Excellent! Heavy compared to the average pinot, but very nice. Complex layers of dark fruit and earthy/tobacco aromas. Tart acidity on the palate, maybe some cherry. Wish I had more.

Fairly full bodied, somewhat of a Grenache quality to it. Sweetness on the attack, though probably more from fruit and ABV than RS. Nose has a good balance of fruit, funk, and barrel aromas. Nice finish with some earth and chocolate. Typical for Roessler style, fairly big but not over the top.

Pleasantly surprised how vibrant this 2006 pinot remains. A wonderfully crafted wine.

One of the best Cali Pinot Noirs I have had in quite awhile.
This is full bodied and well rounded with lots going on.
Palate: Raspberry, strawberry fruit sweetness against earthy tones. Good balanced acidity as well as round, plump tannins.
Really enjoyed this and will search out more.
