Bistro Night at Traci's (Chez Traci, Northridge, California): Light greenish yellow color; botrytis, powdered sugar, pear syrup nose; tart apricot, pear syrup, botrytis palate; medium-plus finish 90+ points
Very light, not particularly sweet, probably needs some soft cheese - nothing very strong.
Considerably lighter than the ’99 Guiraud; brighter fruit like a fruit cocktail with pineapple. No oak is evident.
Served this in lieu of strawberries the other night. A cheese course with it would have been perfect.
