Medium fruit, blackberries, wood and tannin. Has that stinky rubber nose I often associate with older red Burgs. Very good. Generously shared by a member of the Atlanta Tastevin

Friday after Thanksgiving (FAT) - Part 1 - Burgundy 2006 (Palm Beach Gardens FL): First tasted after opened approx 2 hours and this showed moderate red fruit with very good spice and overall good textures. What a difference a day makes. Red fruit expanded, spice enhanced and textures more nuanced on Day 2. Patience required.

(MUSIGNY Jadot) Burgundy Dear Friends, A few noteworthy red Burgundy's are set to arrive and they represent the magic that separates this region from the rest of the wine-world. While $150 for a bottle of wine is a large investment, this parcel of the cr_me-de-la-cr_me runs the gamut of tactile and tertiary impressions on the mind and on the palate. Fresh off tonight's Burghound (where 2006 Echezeaux, in general, was singled out for its exemplary success) this special lot should engage even the most jaded - all at prices that are very competitive. Opened 5 hours ahead - this is attractive and consistent. Great length and intensity. But needs a few more years.
