Clearly recognizeable as a New World Pinot Noir. Despite screw cap, it still shows a very evolved nose with signs of oxydation. Strange, very un Pinoy-like minty/cabbage type of aroma... would be disappointed had I paid for this bottle

I got hints of freshly cooked caramel (minus the cream) as well as sour cherries later on. At this point the bouquet was very pleasing and may have raised my expectations, since it wasn't nearly as pleasing to actually drink. Loads of acid mixed in with pepperiness. No real tannins to speak of and a very short finish.
