(Mostly) Oregon Dinner at Cherry Circle Room (Chicago, IL): A slight bit denser than the regular 95 Ponzi, and shows a touch more sweet black fruit, but at the same time there are still quite a few of those weedy elements here. In fact, I'd say that the weediness here is even slightly more pronounced than the regular Ponzi. The acid's starting to jut out a little bit, and there isn't too much fruit left -- I'd be broaching these bottles sooner rather than later. Still, that's not to say this wasn't an enjoyable bottle of pinot.

Developed complexity over the years and is drinking well. Long finish, the fruit has mellowed and taken on a velvet consistency. A remarkable wine from a weak vintage. If you have some drink now.

This wine was beautiful. It was packed with a mixture of strawberries and currant on the nose and palate. There was enough soft, residual tannins for balance. This was the last of 6. All in all, it held up remarkably well and if you have any, I suggest now is a great time to make a dent in your collection.

Found this bottle in the cellar and said 'why not give it a try'.... opened and decanted it for 1hour but at first smell you could tell it was off. Took a sip and had to throw it out.... spoiled.

Holding up well for a 23 year old Pinot as their 25 anniversary reserve.
