Really enjoyable bottle. Slight minerality upon opening but as it warmed up a bit it turned luscious and round. Great food wine. Community drinking window is off. This wine still has a few years left for sure.

La Confrerie des Chevaliers du Tastevin (Vancouver) (Les Faux Bourgeois): Fresh nose offering minerality, lemon, oak and hints of floral. Not as pronounced on the nose as the Jobard Genevrières was and this also has a much lighter and brighter profile. In the mouth it’s less weighty but there is quite a bit oak coming through which unfortunately overpower some of the lemon and steal flavours. It remains quite fresh despite the heavy oak. A very nice wine but lacks the complexity and balance of the Jobard Genevrières. Very good.

Bright disc. Light yellow robe with watery rim. Intense, clean nose showing floral and mineral aromas, with subltle orange blossom and pear notes. The palate is medium-bodied, with a good attack and evolution, showing similar flavors as the nose, The aciditity is good and the texture is smooth (mouth-filling without heat). Long, smooth finish. Beautiful. Should improve over the next five years.

Very good but not outstanding. Nice nose. High acid and good structure. Very minerally but not the longest finish.
