13.5% abv. 1 of 3 magnums. Light gold, viscous in glass and mouthfeel, lychee, straw, rose water. Some lemon lime. Slightly off dry, but has depth to go another few years (if stored well). Full Gewurtz, at peak or just past drinking window.

Dull. Strange aromatics at first with a pool water-like/chemical note, but with some time it fades and just leaves behind sparse, slightly sour white fruited flavours. Nothing particularly pleasurable here, and not even remotely close to the "sliver of history" Garagiste apparently promised.

TTTG Blind (very brief notes): Incredibly dull and, tasted blind, spoke nothing of Gewurztraminer, but more like an old, tired Alsatian blend. Okay, but nothing remarkable or memorable at all.

Golden colour and lots of ginger on the nose. Very dry - perhaps drying out a little but plenty of fruit and a gingery/spicy finish. Good but drink soon.

Signs of seepage and a dodgy cork but the wine was a healthy and classic off-dry Gewurtz full of roses, ginger and lychees. Very nice golden wine.
