Popped and let breathe for an hour. Light yellow with a greenish tinge. Lemon oil showing on the nose, as well as smokey oak, sweet cantaloupe, and a touch of tangerine.Viscous on the palate, showing oak, bitter lemon peel, orange, and melon. A bit off balanced as the alcohol comes through a bit too much for my liking. Dry long finish ending with oak and lemon.

A nice Chard. Pretty well balanced, not overly oaky, with crisp acidity.

A really nice chard, not overoaked, with fresh acidity and some nice nuttiness that really comes out when tasted with a red pepper and walnut pesto.

A little tart for a chardonnay by my estimation. More woodsy flavor than I generally taste in white wines.

Not a bad CA Chardonnay at all. Slightly floral nose with perhaps some honeysuckle. Very buttery on the palate with touch of citrus on the back-end.
