  A wow wine for that old CA chard. Still lots of life left.

  On its downward slope and the alcohol is still very present. Drink.

  Still showing well. This bottle still had bright citrus fruit flavors and was clearer than most Peter Michael chards

  Terrific wine. Dense and concentrated. Dense is relative, though. This is not as dense as a typical California Chardonnay. It is a nice hybrid in style between Burgundy and California. The fruit profile is terrific and this has given way to some nice secondary development. A nutty element has started to come through. The apple, pear and other orchard fruits are still there, but there is now a great spice component. This has a dense core and a nice spicy lingering finish.
