Bright brassy gold color...Like a 20 year old wine. Super-ripe, atypical nose with caramelized pineapple, honeyed peach and fruit cocktail aromas with some underlying powdered stone scents. Rich, fat and almost sweet in the mouth with the exotic fruit profile leading the way. There is acidity here and it manages to just barely keep the wine from being totally overblown but no sense of mineral/terroir to speak of. Fat and modestly oaky finish. A winter time white burg to drink with rich fish/poultry preparations... and to drink soon as I can't see this going anywhere in the future. Disappointing wine from a producer know for lean and pure white burgs.

Made in an elegant style in a darker gold color. Peaches and pears on the nose. Plenty of structure and well intergrated with a citrus based a long finish. Very nice wine.

(Domaine Matrot Meursault Les Chevalières) Light medium golden color; a little oxidized, sulfur and lime jello nose; sulfured, acrid, way too tart; short finish

At first I thought this wine was flawed until I read the other tasting notes and agreed. This wine was barely drinkable.

This one is much better. Stony minerality with bright acidity and green apples. Good!
