Nice wine that shows a really nice dried apricot component on the nose and palate. Palate brings some nice honeyed apricots and a little lemon. + acidity. Nothing mind blowing but a great food wine.

Drank one bottle 20 months ago, didn't like it so let this one sit around in the chiller. Brought it out to have with some refined take out Thai from Maggie's as nothing else was chilled. Not bad against chicken massaman, but doesn't knock my socks off. Now it's been open for two hours, the orchard flavors coming out nicely, especially the pear, with maybe a hint of lime. Still, too sweet for kabinett--I wouldn't quaff this on a hot summer evening--but not powerfully sweet enough to counter even slightly bolder, spicier food

Not the last word in complexity, but quite nice after a day's aeration (too carbonic on day 1). Plenty of forward peaches and lime on the nose and palate, tangy, long and delicious. I'm finding that the '07s need a lot of air at this stage. By the liter!

Agree with others that this is a simple but tasty kabinett level riesling. Perfect for quaffing on a hot summer day.

sweet honeyed note initially on nose; quite sweet on the palate for a kab; bit of greenness here too contributes to a dry finish. 88+
