Bottled in 2019. Light amber in color. Clear. Clean nose with caramel, vanilla, dried fruit, and very light orange spice. Extremely smooth entry with balanced acidity, orange spice, sweet toffee, and lovely dried nuts. This is such an incredibly balanced wine. Very long, sweet finish with complexity and supple tannins

2019 FTLOP Harvest Tour; 9/19/2019-9/28/2019 (Portugal): Orange-yellow with lightening at the edges. Clear. A touch of rose petals and spirit on the nose. Intense orange peel on the entry but extremely balanced on the mid-palate with subtle orange and honey notes. The finish falls off for a second and then returns in subtle waves of flavor.

Nuts on the nose with some heat. Smoother and leaner than most tawnys. Tasty. Just a bit more heat than I normally like for the style but tasty sipper.

Pale brown.
Pronounced on the nose with maraschino cherry, candied orange peel, cinammon, nutmeg, toasted hazlenut, coffee, chocolate, dried blackberry, caramel, raisin, fig, wet leaves, mushroom, prune. Fully developed.
Pronounced and sweet on the palate. High acidity, medium well resolved tannins, full body, long finish.
Can drink now but has potential for aging.
