  • Needs 30 mins or so in the decanter to open up and get going. Silky red fruit, great acidity, wonderful balance and complexity. A home run for this estates first vintage. Plenty of life ahead of it, classic CA Cabernet.

  • Gorgeous fruit and secondary notes. Linear, rich but firm with supporting acids, tremendous length and concentration. Showing a bit of age but not yet at peak.

  • Decanted for one hour, cork crumbled upon extraction. Nice ruby red core with some lightening around the edges. Nose has some bright red fruits, pomegranate, bing cherries, strawberry liqueur and a touch of warm raspberry sauce. Creamy red fruits, tobacco leaf, light roasted coffee beans, baking chocolate, bit of cellar dust and a touch of perfume like spices. Nice mouthfeel, silky and glossy texture, mellow toasted oak, fresh acidity in the middle, still some tannins present but is has shed most of its baby fat. Medium body, great texture and weight. Some dry chalky tannins on the finish with a smashing of toasty vanilla oak, baking spices, raspberry reduction sauce and some cedar box. Really nice wine that shows no signs of going down hill and is still very youthful.

  • Wow this bottle was very youthful and packed with tons of life. On the nose was sweet perfume like fruit, pencil shavings, vanilla oak, blue and red fruits all rolled with cedar box. Palate had tons of finesse with a polished tannin structure, fresh acidity and bright red fruits. Medium body which lacked a bit of concentration but really captivating on the nose. Tons of secondary flavours going on which developed into black tea, herbs and earthy like underbrush. Very BDX like in comparison to typical CA cabs and a real treat to drink.
