Lovely deep cherry colour, no evident age. Nice, perfumed red cherry aromas and little bit of spice. Nice round mouth, a little uneven tannin, a bit of barbecue or charcoal flavours which complement very well - very good indeed.

Agreed with the ripe stewed fruit comment below. A touch of toasty oak as well. This is more the cherries than wet-leaves version of Burgundy. However the balance is excellent and the QPR is very good.

No specific notes but it was solid, clean and pure.
