More and more the thing that I enjoy the most in wine is balance and this wine has it in spades. The nose offers delicate floral notes with peaches, a suite of orange citrus and wet slate. The palate has an uncanny sense of poise balancing a delicious weight of honeyed fruit with nearly perfect acidity and mouth watering slate-y minerality. Outstanding

Grosser Ring Tasting of 2007 wines from the Nahe, Mosel, Saar and Ruwer (German Embassy, London): A touch murky on the nose, which has floral stone fruits. Decent palate. Good. Not exactly thrilling, but good.
