Smak: Runde tanniner. Noe røff surkiresbær, svakt hint av sviske. Mindre tiltalende enn i går

0,375 bottle. Lovely nebbiolo nose. Surprisingly thick, deep red colour when poured. Taste is at first very nice. Never experienced such a dramatic change with a glass of wine. The wine changes dramatically in the glass. Within an hour the colour turns more into light, transparent - more nebbiolo typical with brick - brown. Taste also changes, and becomes shorter, lighter. Smell is still wonderfull, and from the sniff I would rate it a 92, but the taste doesnt follwo up, and is fading quickly. Guess it is time to drink up these - at least if you have the small bottles.

WOW. Pnp. Half bottle. Lightly chilled. Amazing. Deep red, a bit of sediments in the glass. Balsamico, wood, medicine, port, dark fruits, the finish of the smell has hents of a of a speyside whisky, (wood and alcohol?) but it is a great wine. It has much more than the traditional nebbiolo Roseleaves. I recently have had PdB 2006 with the 50% cru juice. In my opinion this ioppa has so much more too offer!! Tannic still, but It has also some fresh mature red fruits. Complex and long aftertaste. A bit too big alcohol in the end. Perhaps this is how an expensive, 12 year old barolo tastes like? Or is it the 20% vespolina that makes this an (hidden) jewel?

Half bottle. Dark red colour with lots of sediments. Taste is: plum, raisins, roses, prunes, and som off-flavour of burnt rubber?. Definitely a food-wine. Drank without food unfortunately. Try with meat or Parmasan, or wait another year.
