taste: rich tannins with a good medium/full feel and medium+ acidity with tones of dark red fruits, dark berries, spice tones and bits of earth as well
overall: a nicely balanced and young pommard. Needs a bit of time to tone down some of the rough edges, but is a very good village wine and holds up to its level well

Cranberry and forest floor on the nose with an underlying evergreen note. Crabapple and sour cherry on the palate. Grippy tannins, but not too big. Tart and acidic on the finish to the point of becoming bitter.

Has the riper end of the Beaune fruit profile (Bing cherry), some brown spice, not nothing to ponder over, really. I do like the balance, and if you are looking for an approachable, early-drinking, and solidly made Bugundy, this could be for you.

Knightsbridge's New Release Burgundy Tasting (Knightsbridge, Northbrook IL): nose: good robust and dark nose with dark red fruits, bits of brown spices, earth tones and some bits of dark berries. Good tones, but lacking a bit of depth

Knightsbridge Burgundy Tasting (Knightsbridge Wine Shop (IL)): Wine 14---
Same subtle nose as the Clos de Mouches, though with more cherry.
Soft on the palate, subtle fruit.
Very good if a bit linear.
