Winefields Pre-Sale Tasting and Lunch (Wijnkasteel Genoels-Elderen, Riemst, Belgium): From the Wijnmakelaarsunie Museum Collection. Very light colour, fully mature and transparent, delicate and fresh, slightly metallic acidity and light but with tough bitters, light flavours, red berries, hint of undergrowth, smoky oak; clean and fresh but light finish. Has seen better days but still interesting.

A Few Wines at Wally's Inaugural Wine Auction (Whitney Museum of American Art - New York NY): Started nicely with subtle red fruit and lots of earth, simple but ok balance even if a bit musty, which I expected to dissipate. Didn't go away, instead this shortened and got less interesting with more air.

A touch tartans funky when opened, blew off and was good. A touch too thin, but still good fruit.
