Popped and poured/shared with my wife. Another excellent showing for this (so far) entirely realiable wine. Buttery popcorn in a very balanced, delicate fashion.

Opened and left to stand for 30 minutes before serving. Looking back at my previous notes on this I can't understand why I haven't had one of these for a while. Just as it was back in February, this was absolutely singing from the start. Lovely, elegant nose with some butter popcorn and a few cloves/spices in the background to keep it in focus. Similar on the palate - beautifully balanced and perfectly mature with a lovely long finish but this time without the chalkiness of the Feb bottle. I really mean it this time...the rest of my stash of these will not last long!

This was simply awesome! Opened and decanted then drunk over 2-3 hours. Wonderful nose of butter popcorn, white flowers, chalk and hints of cloves and spices. Powerful, perfectly mature wine only slightly lacking in some acidity to give it a little more structure. The rest of my stash will not last long!

Popped and poured. Dark golden/honeyed colour. Beautiful, sweet honeyed fruit with a long finish. Great showing from my last bottle.
