  Dark purple in the glass. For the 2007 vintage, I got more sugar on the nose than I expected. On the palate I got rasberry and vanilla. This was a full bodied wine, with medium acidity. Not very complex, but with nice balance, and a finish that lasted longer than a minute. The finish continued the red berry, with a nice acidity. This was the fourth wine of the night in a Spanish wine tasting, and this was the wine of the night for me. I think this is great value at $14 a bottle.
