This is astonishing. As per my last note but with just a touch of manzanilla on the nose and an extra honeyed dimension. Delicious. Sad to see this vintage pass from my cellar.

With a bit of extra age this is now showing really well. Light golden colour. Nose of apples, blossom, a hint of beeswax and some vanilla. Mouth feels rich, slightly viscous, sweet fruit, a savoury undernote, good acidity and a clean, long finish. I really do find this the most astonishing bargain among age-worthy wines.

This was delicious, really drinking at its peak. It could almost be blind tasted as a really robust Chardonnay, but it is slightly nuttier on the nose with lots of fresh quince. Honey and a bit of crushed leaf round things off. The mouthfeel is very rich and the acidity brighter than Chardonnay. Delicious with rich creamy white sauces.

Still fresh and complex. An outstanding blend of sweet fruit, vanilla, spice and honey. Great with food and beyond
