Good representation of a "typical" New Zealand / Marlborough Pinot Noir - cherry, strawberry, cranberry and white pepper, with an interesting root beer note on the nose. All in all, the best way to describe it is that this is a very pleasant wine (be careful, this is a very technical wine term) - well balanced, soft, with a little heat on the finish, but not unbearable.

Had a glass with lobster, mushroom pasta dinner. Quite good, longer finish than the Stonewall Pinot Noir I had a few weeks ago. Only the 2nd New Zealand PN I've had.

Good pinot. Light-medium body and lots of cherry.
