  This is really drinking well right now. It probably could have benefited from a short decant as it opened up over the course of a couple hours. Very well balanced with soft but well defined tannin. Notes of licorice, black tea, and red cherries.

  Ottimo Barolo ad un punto di maturità perfetto.
  Oggi è un vino di grande fruibilità e già di notevole complessità aromatica.
  Naso sfaccettato, elegante e balsamico, pieno di fascino, fresco ed invitante: con notevoli sentori di genziana, di cardamomo, mentolo, rabarbaro, fiori appassiti, tabacco, terra umida e tartufo. In bocca è teso, pieno, intenso, con tannini tosti ma già ben "levigati", boccata viva e giovane, bella acidità sgrassante; si protrae a lungo sul palato, si dilunga in modo davvero persistente.
  Gran bel vino.

  Dark ruby. Nose of roses, menthol, cherry. A slight whiff of oxidation. Medium palate of black cherry, rhubarb, minerals, and anise. Finish is a touch disappointing. OK acidity. Youthful tannins. Not quite up to my expectations.
