A wonderful choice for the night out at the local "no wine/no beer/no corkage, but always a cork screw and proper glass" neighborhood (walking distance) restaurant. Paired with chicken breast, stuffed with prosciutto/spinach/romano, and served with mashed potatoes and a tower of spinach, the 14.1% Pinot-dominant blend was a delightful choice, given that I hadn't seen the menu yet. I'm very happy in reflecting that my inventory shows another bottle, in deeper storage. Chosen from that immediately available, and triggered perhaps by a mailing received from their wine club today touting their 2006 Rubiyat as a 3-5 year "hold", I'm convinced that my wine club membership here pays off even though I seem to get something like 23 shipments a year (okay, just kidding).

A bit past it's prime, so it doesn't quite has the bite it has at its peak, but still very tasty and smooth

A little past its prime but got better as time past. Needs well more than an hour or air prior to drinking.
