Dinner on the Gran Tier at the Metropolitan Opera, hosted by Kay. Really spectacular setting, this was first wine served with appetizers.
Expressive nose of citrus, orchard fruits, peach. Palate was granny apples, pineapple, lemon zest, crushed stone, creamy vanilla and oak on the finish. chalky minerality. Was drinking nicely this evening, right in it's zone at this point, doesn't seem that it would improve much. would drink over next 3 years.

The previous note nails it on the head. I thought this was drinking great on a PnP. Nice definition and length. Very solid, but not necessarily spectacular. B+/A-

A lovely nose, citrus and minerals with some ripe apples, fresh into the mouth, with fresh lemon juice, apples, wet stones and a touch of vanilla cream and mandarin. The finish is long and comes back in waves. Very good
