Justin's Riesling Problem (Willamette Wine Storage, Portland, OR): Nice acids present even on the nose, and this is the first of the night that's really showing a slight bit of petrol. The palate hits with pleasing acids, tart fruit, some acidity, but light on complexity beyond general characteristics. Pretty nice acids on the finish as tart fruit coats the palate after swallowing.

Rather nice, slightly uncomplicated dry off Riesling from Selbach-Oster. Nice aging. Maybe even a bit to fast. Tastes more like a 2004 or 2002 vintage. Like the other authors: tons of honey and apricot are still very much present. Anyway, fair wine for a fair price (approx. 10 Euros).

Consistent with previous notes. This wine just rocks. It's got clarity, balance, evolution of flavor, minerality on the nose and palate. It's excellent, and a steal at its price point.

Nicely balanced but on the sweeter side. Not much petrol but very nice with spicey food.

Day 1:
Delicious laser sharp fruit, some botrytis and refreshing acidity. Long aftertaste. A plethora of fruit layers!
