Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Quite aromatic, with floral notes, tropical fruit, and a pleasantly lactic, almost oily aromatic quality. Waxy. Very interesting in the mouth - has a rich, oily mouthfeel and broad, palate-coating quality yet it's relatively light-bodied. Flavors of quince, tropical fruits, waxy, faint touch of hazelnut. Good if not great acids, and not inconsiderable length, though it's marred slightly by the passing taste of alcohol. I guessed Cape chenin blanc. Tasted blind.
