  This is not your everyday wine. A big flavorful Zinfandel from Lodi’s half to century year-old vines. Mature round tannins accenting generous raspberry chocolate, mocha and spice. This zinfandel is truly a delectable expression of Lodi’s signature terroir.

Boisterous and brambly this comes at you like a tidal wave of flavor, drenching your palate in black pepper, blueberry, fennel and homemade pie crust.   Deep violet/garnet. Ripe, black fruit, cassis, petrol, oak spice, and vanilla nose. Lush, super-ripe, black fruit palate is densely packed flaunting a thick, raisiny edge, and sweet mocha on the back end.

  No formal notes. 1 hour decant. Good flavors of cherry, plum skin, spices and a hint of cream. Paired well with roasted chicken and root vegetables. Good/Very Good. 85-87
